The Position
As a Senior Solution Architect / Specialist Solution Architect, you will be responsible
for analyzing customer requirements and designing scalable, high-performance
telecom solutions aligned with business and technical needs.
You will play a key role in solution scoping, architecture design, and preparation of
critical technical documents such as SOW, HLD, and LLD. The role involves working
on telecom VAS, digital platforms, messaging systems, APIs, and third-party
integrations while collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers
globally.
You will also be responsible for defining deployment architectures, ensuring high
availability and scalability, and supporting transformation initiatives from legacy to
modern telecom platforms.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Analyze customer requirements, RFP/RFQ inputs, and translate them into technical solutions
- Design and architect solutions using Telenity and third-party products aligned
with business needs - Prepare key technical documents such as SOW, HLD, LLD, and solution
descriptions - Design high-level and low-level architectures ensuring high availability and geo redundancy
- Develop solution workflows, service call flows, and use case scenarios
- Define scope, assumptions, dependencies, risks, and exclusions
- Perform infrastructure sizing and prepare vBOQ based on traƯic and deployment
needs - Participate in customer meetings, workshops, and technical presentations
- Collaborate with presales, delivery, R&D, QA, and support teams
- Support migration and transformation from legacy to modern telecom platforms
- Ensure adherence to telecom standards such as 3GPP, TM Forum, and modern
architectures like microservices and containerization .
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong understanding of telecom VAS and digital services ecosystem
- Experience with platforms such as SMSC, USSD, SMS Firewall, charging
systems, and digital service platforms - Knowledge of telecom protocols and integrations: SIGTRAN, SMPP, Diameter,
REST/SOAP APIs, HTTPS - Familiarity with SQL & NoSQL databases
- Expertise in requirement gathering, gap analysis, and solution design
- Ability to design deployment architectures, workflows, and service flows
- Understanding of high availability, redundancy, failover, and infrastructure sizing
- Experience with cloud/on-prem deployment models and virtualization
- Strong customer-facing communication and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent documentation, analytical, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science / information technology / Electronics
/ Telecommunications or equivalent - 5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture / Technical Architecture in
telecom domain - Experience in preparing SOW, HLD, and LLD documentation
- Exposure to telecom transformation or migration projects is preferred
- Relevant telecom or architecture certifications are an added advantage
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
