Engineer NOC

 The Position 

We are seeking an outstanding full-time NOC engineer to work in our India office.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring alerts, managing Jira tickets issued by customers and internal stakeholders,  taking  actions  within  the  SLA time frames specified, creating product reports, and enhancing service monitoring. Additionally, you will be expected to exhibit good  analytical  and  problem-solving abilities, as well as good organizational, communication, and customer service skills.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Follow incident management process, escalation matrix and SLAs for communications and
  • Ensure all issues are properly logged.
  • Prioritize and manage several open issues at a
  • Respond to incident/outage issues according to
  • Have proven hands-on customer support
  • Prepare accurate and timely
  • Have familiarity with monitoring tools such as Zabbix &
  • Support L2 team in certain issues and collect required
  • Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams according to
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical
  •  

 Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 

  • Knowledge on customer focused digital services (Service Delivery Platform, Digital Services Delivery Platform, Digital OSS/BSS) and mobile core VAS solutions (SMSC, USSD, Antispam, Call/Voice services, etc.)
  • Broad understanding of Telecom applications and business areas e.g., provisioning, charging, messaging, API management, subscription management, bundle management
  • Very good command of English both in written and speaking,
  • Very good documentation skills

Education & Experience

  • Graduate/BSC/BCA degree in Computer science or in telecommunications Having experience in telecommunications is a plus

Work Conditions

Mostly working remotely, with regular visits to customers and the office.
