Korkut Uluaydin Joins Telenity as Vice President of Global Operations
Monroe, CT – May 10, 2010 — Telenity (www.telenity.com), a leading provider of next generation value added services, messaging, service delivery and mobile marketing solutions, announced today the appointment of Mr. Korkut Uluaydin as Vice President of Operations.
In his new role, Korkut Uluaydin will lead Telenity’s operations organization consisting of customer service and support, internal and external information technology (IT/MIS) and program management functions. Uluaydin comes to Telenity with more than 15 years in the Telecom sector and brings invaluable experience and insight from his positions at leading mobile operators.

Korkut Uluaydin’s over 15 years of industry experience includes executive positions in management, IT, technology, product management and engineering positions at leading telecommunications operators. Before joining Telenity, Uluaydin was a Subject Matter Expert in Mobile Networks at Peppers and Rogers Group where he worked for STC as a special consultant to the general manager at director level and developed a new strategy for performance management. Previously, Uluaydin was the strategy and technology governance director of Avea in Turkey where he oversaw activities such as program management of SOA, convergent billing, 3G, mobile number portability, MVNO technical preparations and interrelated departments such as customer care, marketing and regulation. Prior to Avea, Uluaydin was the Technical Director of Kcell in Kazakhstan. At Kcell, he was instrumental in improving the network quality, decreasing call drop rates significantly and managing rapid growth while still maintaining quality programs such as ITIL and ISO 9000. He was awarded with Honorary Professor Degree (No.3) from Almaty Institute of Power Engineering and Telecommunications in 2006. Before Kcell, Uluaydin served as the Technical Director for Moldcell, Moldova. During his tenure at Moldcell, he mainly worked in IT, technical and product development fields and was instrumental in establishing an ISP with VoIP license and introducing many new services. He was awarded with a Moldovan State Silver Medal Class 2 for his contributions to education and public development. Prior to Moldcell, Uluaydin served in engineering teams of Kcell and Turkcell. Uluaydin completed the Master of Science (MS) and Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the Bogazici University in Istanbul, Turkey.
