Coskun Demir Joins Telenity as Vice President of Engineering Operations
Istanbul, Turkey – June 18, 2012 – Telenity, a leading provider of service delivery, location-based services, social media, mobile marketing and messaging platforms and solutions, today announced the appointment of Mr. Coskun Demir as Vice President of Engineering Operations.
In his new role, Coskun Demir will lead Telenity’s engineering operations organization consisting of customer service and support, and internal and external information technology (IT/MIS) functions globally. Demir comes to Telenity more than 20 years of telecommunications industry experience and brings invaluable experience and insight from his positions at leading mobile operators, network infrastructure vendors, and independent software providers.

Coskun Demir’s over 20 years of telecommunications industry experience includes executive management and planning positions in IT, technology, product management and engineering. Before joining Telenity, Demir was the VAS Planning Expert at Vodafone Turkey, the second largest mobile operator in the country. In this role, Demir was responsible for the capacity and roadmap planning as well as budget, project management, and vendor management of new and existing IT and VAS systems. Previously, Demir served as the Senior Solution Architect for the Consulting and System Integration division at Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) in Turkey supporting mobile operators in the North-East region in areas such as technical sales, technical project management, and system integration of 3G VAS, Fixed Mobile Convergence, and IMS Online Charging and Billing systems. Prior to NSN, Demir was the Software Development Director at Telenity where he managed the design, development and testing of Canvas core products. Before Telenity, Demir worked at NCR as an Application Development Consultant, and at Telsoft as Senior Software Engineer. Demir completed the Master of Science (MS) and Bachelor of Science (BS) degrees in Computer Engineering and Information Sciences at Bilkent University in Ankara, Turkey.
