Canvas® VideoMail provides a state-of-the-art messaging platform that helps wireless, wireline and next generation network operators improve customer satisfaction and create additional revenue sources with Video Telephony applications.
The Canvas brand covers multiple solutions with key components that are optimal for future growth in the evolving next generation networks (3G/IMS). Each Canvas product offers not only a point solution, but also re-usable building blocks that seamlessly integrate with other Canvas products as well as with Telenity partner solutions.
Canvas VideoMail is a member of the Canvas Converged Value Added Services portfolio. It is a carrier grade platform that provides video message storage, video deposit, retrieval and management capabilities with high capacity, performance, reliability and near-linear scalability.
Canvas VideoMail also supports look and feel customization that enables service providers to configure the service to best fit the needs of their customers.
Video Mail Users
Canvas VideoMail allows callers to leave a video message to subscribers even if they are out of coverage, busy, or simply just not available.
Message Box
Canvas VideoMail provides assigned mailboxes to each subscriber. Messages for each subscriber are stored in his/her own video mailbox for retrieval. Service providers can configure the size of these message boxes to fit their business models.
Access Methods
Canvas VideoMail provides access for message storage, retrieval and mailbox management from multiple media sources. Subscribers can access their mailboxes through IVP (Interactive Video Portal) and Web interfaces.
Subscribers can use different methods to authenticate themselves. These include providing the user ID and password upon accessing the message box or identifying a set of numbers where the users can call from and automatically authenticate to retrieve their messages.
Multiple Language Support
Canvas VideoMail offers Multilanguage support. Subscribers can utilize multiple languages that are defined in the Canvas VideoMail depending on their personal preferences. Operators can add new languages to the system by simply introducing the system announcements in a new language. The platform is capable of switching to a new language immediately without service interruption.
