Canvas Location Gateway supports advanced location enabling services and connectivity to mobile positioning systems such as GMLC/MPC and facilitates the introduction of location-based services (LBS) such as people finder, location-based advertising, tracking etc.

Location gateway combined with common management and provisioning, messaging gateway, operation and billing support system (OSS/BSS) gateway and the advanced geo-services (tracking, geo-coding, reverse geocoding), including the anonymity management and proxy features provide a location-enabling server (LES) middleware.
