
Telenity and Nortel Networks Jointly Expand Global Programmable Network Capabilities into TSTT with Location-based Services
Monroe, CT.– (BUSINESS WIRE) - November 4, 2004 – Telenity (www.telenity.com), a leading global provider of IP-based service delivery platforms that ensure the programmability of mobile and next generation networks, today announced successful deployment of a Location-based Services (LBS) and Roamer Services solution jointly provided by Nortel Networks and Telenity into Telecommunications Services of Trinidad and Tobago Ltd (TSTT), a GSM/GPRS network operator.
Nortel Networks integrated and resold Telenity's Canvas LES, Location Enabling Server, and Canvas RTMS, Resource Tracking and Management System with N or tel Networks Mobile Location Center (MLC). The subscriber positioning capabilities of Nortel Networks MLC combined with the enhanced features and functionality of Canvas LES and RTMS will serve some of the country's fast growing industries which include banking, insurance, petroleum and energy.
