Azercell selects Telenity and HP solution for major network expansion
Monroe, CT (March 22, 2004) – Telenity, a leading provider of IP-based open service platforms to the wireless industry, today announced that Azercell, a Fintur Holdings company and the largest GSM operator in Azerbaijan, has selected the integrated Telenity Canvas Service Delivery Platform and HP OpenCall™ Media Platform solution to provide immediate and next-generation services to its subscribers.
Azercell will deploy the Telenity and HP solution for voice and data mobile applications that include SMSC, MMS, USSD, voice. The sale includes Telenity's popular VoiceMail, PayForMe, and Roamers Call Back applications, which connect Azercell's voice and data channels in a single platform.
